I don't post rants like this often but it’s just been one of those
days. Where everything seems to be getting on my nerves and for one
reason or another something just pushes you over the edge. Today it’s
guys who are bad fathers.
Seriously, how hard is it for you to be there for your kids and
family? I’m not talking about deadbeat fathers, or fathers who don’t
live with their children; I’m talking about those fathers who live at
home with their family but who will go out of their way to not have to
be home to spend time with them.
You know the type. The ones who always have an excuse to come home
late. The ones who always has a reason why they can't make it to a
family event or your kids party or sporting event. The guys who would
rather sit at the office playing on the computer or just finding busy
work to do while their family wait at Disneyland for them to show up and
are told "just 5 more minuets then I'm leaving" every time they call.
Don't they realize the example they are giving to their kids? Don't
they realize the pain you are causing the kids who just want to see
their father, and the stress on his wife having to always cover for him?
This is just something I don't understand. If you don't want to be in
a family then divorce and leave or man up and be a damn father!
Just a random collection of information, observations and rants to help get through life.

Setting up my Blogger Account
Ok I admit, its been a few years since I have used Blogger as my Content Management System. A while back I decided to make the switch to Wordpress and never looked back.
The reason why I made the switch from Blogger to Wordpress is because I like to have total control over my websites. The ability to control the layout, design elements, and just total freedom was more available through Wordpress then Blogger. So I made the switch and never looked back, until today.
I decided possibly enough time has passed that I'll give Blogger another shot, check it out and see if they have made any improvements. And much to my surprise, they really haven't.
Ok that isn't exactly true. They have made many upgrades but I feel their upgrades have made things even more confusing.
I understand that this is supposed to be simple, click and drag and bam!, you have a website. But s someone who is very familiar with HTML and design, this whole click and drag crap is pointless. You still are at the control of how they want you to lay things out.
Ugh! Ok I'll have to play around with this some more and see how it is but so far I still feel Wordpress is much better for anyone looking to have control over their website using a Content Management System.

Welcome to Blogger
After years of using Wordpress and other platforms I've decided to jump into Blogger and see how it goes.
